Marianne, the owner
Behind the counter of Le Saint d'Hic III, it's Marianne who pours the beers and welcomes everyone like family: morning coffee, slow-cooked dish of the day, a glass of wine and sharing boards. A family brasserie, present in the dining room from the first coffee to the last drink.
Meyboom
The Gardevils' meeting place
Le Saint d'Hic III is the meeting place of the Gardevils, those who watch over the Meyboom tree and keep this centuries-old Brussels tradition alive. Photos, mementos and illustrations of the tree's guardians decorate our walls.

3 to 5 min walkAnneessens and Lemonnier stations, on the ring line. Get off at Anneessens: Place Rouppe is 300 m away. Brussels-South station (2, 6) is also 8 minutes' walk.
Tram
2 to 6 min walkTrams 3, 4 and 51 stop at Anneessens and Lemonnier (pre-metro, below the boulevard). The 82 serves Lemonnier from Berchem and Drogenbos.
Bus
1 to 5 min walkBus 48 stops directly at Place Rouppe / Anneessens, while the 86 and 46 pass by Lemonnier and Boulevard Maurice Lemonnier. Noctis night buses run at weekends from the Bourse.
Train
8 to 12 min walkBrussels-South (Thalys/Eurostar/TGV) is 800 m away, Brussels-Chapelle 700 m and Brussels-Central 1.3 km. From Brussels-South: walk straight up Avenue de Stalingrad to Place Rouppe.
The area is a wide pedestrian zone: the metro remains the simplest option. Villo!: Rouppe and Anneessens stations right in front of the brasserie.

Parking near Place Rouppe
Central Brussels is almost entirely paid on-street parking. The simplest and cheapest option for a full meal: an underground car park just a few minutes' walk from the brasserie.

Place Rouppe and the whole Pentagon (historic centre) are in a paid grey zone, according to the City of Brussels' official parking plan:
- When do I have to pay? Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 9pm. Free on Sundays and public holidays.
- How long can I stay? A maximum of 4h30 in a row in the same spot.
- How much does it cost? €0.90 for the first half hour, €2.70 for the second, then €5.60 per hour (i.e. €3.60 an hour at lunchtime).
- How do I pay? At the ticket machine or via the official payment apps (BiPass platform). Remember to display or save your ticket.
Our advice: for a full meal, the underground car park is often cheaper than the street and avoids the stress of the 4h30 time limit. Full regulations on bruxelles.be/stationnement.
